땡 잡았다

I feel like half the meals we eat as missionaries are scraped together like beggars, searching for something to add to our rice to make it seem more like a meal than just eating rice plain.

And then the other half of the meals are absolute feasts where we eat so good we don't even have to eat again that day. Sometimes the next day as well🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

This week we had a lot of those amazing feasts.

These members wanted to take us out to a meat buffet, and it was a great time! Usually I can't eat up to my full potential at meals with koreans cause they usually try to eat as much as they can, but we just kept eating meat for like 2 hours straight, it was awesome. The one in the back was also in the tabernacle choir and temple Square for a few years, and now the 3 of them are working as content creators. Pretty sweet guys.

We also had a nice meal with these members. They wanted us to bring our teaching friend too, and so we did (the one next to me) and they bore their testimonies to him during our meal. It was awesome! We're gonna all eat chicken and play badminton next week together as well.

Zone conference! It went really well actually, and it was in 부천, my first area, so it's always nice to go back there for the mems.

On Saturday morning we were teaching a lesson in the church, and this old member couple wandered in asking where everyone was. Apparently they got mixed up and thought the ward was watching general conference on Saturday too. But when we said nobody was coming they seemed pretty sad, so we paused our lesson and set up general conference for them so they could watch a session haha. We even bought them some snacks.

After zone conference we were so tired but we got revived be eating 김치찌개 and energy drinks

Went to the palace last p day

Well that's all for this week. Transfers are this week so we'll see if I stay in 영등포. I mean there's no reason I shouldn't cause I just got here but you never know.

I haven't watched all of general conference yet but my favorite talks were the ones by Alan R Walker and Neil L Anderson so give them a read if you haven't yet.
