Well the first few weeks of the transfer were kinda crazy but everything seems back to normal now for the most part. I am kind of suspicious that our teaching friend pedro might be trying to kidnap us and take us to North Korea though.
He's been real generous when it comes to buying us meat though, so let's hope that's not the case. Other than that though it's been a pretty normal but great week.
부천 members are so nice and we keep going to all you can eat buffets for our member meals! I can't believe how much weight I've gained!!! (0 pounds) it's nice going to the buffets though cause then we can just eat that one meal and spend the rest of the day doing real productive things.
Here are two of our current teaching friends, 황선기 and 김동임. They're a couple and 황선기 is like 75 and his wife is like 95. For our most recent lesson, she came all the way to the church which was crazy. Usually we just go to their house, but apparently they were in the area.
Anyway, the members really like them but at our last lesson (which was my first time teaching them) I was wondering if they were even retaining anything being taught. So at this lesson the first thing I did was ask if they remembered anyway. Literally anything at all from the past 3 months that they've been meeting with missionaries. But nope, they don't remember anything haha. So I guess we're gonna have to make some decisions here moving forward haha.
Anyway 2 of our other teaching friends are 이인구 and 이상원. We finished teaching all the principles to 이인구 this week and we're planning to invite him to be baptized again tomorrow so pray that it goes well!! Our other friend 이상원 doesn't believe in God, but he came to church last week fitted up in a full suit haha and when we talked he at least has a desire to know if God is real so we're gonna start from there. Well that's probably all for this week.
