We started off the week by going to κ°ν for some choir thing. It was a memorial ceremony for the miracle at κ°ν that took place during the Korean War. It is actually a pretty cool story, and there's a video about it somewhere on youtube or gospel library so you should all go try and watch it!
Anyway, I was excited to go back cause I had been there once before while serving in μΆμ² since κ°ν is a part of that area. I left my charger and a portable charger at a cafe there as well when I visited last time 6 months ago, and so I figured maybe I could go see if it was still there

unfortunately I wasn't able to find it. I also didn't even check the Cafe though so maybe that's why I didn't find i.t

unfortunately I wasn't able to find it. I also didn't even check the Cafe though so maybe that's why I didn't find i.t I invited my μΆμ² music buddy μ΄νΈμ€ to come to κ°ν and he actually showed up!
Had a nice conversation on the street with this "english teacher from Canada" (I don't think he was actually an English teacher from Canada, but that's what he said).
We're trying to build of friend group of young adults ages 20-35, so that all the young people who come to our activities get comfortable with each other and then don't feel afraid talking about the gospel together and then we all go to church and get baptized the end

(and endure to the end).Pickleball νλ
I had a funny conversation with a ward member about pickleball on Sunday. It went like this:
Me: do you like pickleball?

Him: yes I do. I play very well. I play better than you

Me: are you sure about that?

Him: yes, I've been playing for 5 years

Me: what if I told you I've been playing for longer?

(his confident expression turns into a look of uncertainty)
Me: do you know κΉμν? (Member of μλ±ν¬ ward, plays pickleball well)
Him: yeah...he plays pickleball very well
Me: ask him about elder jensens pickleball ability

So yeah I'm gonna be playing him soon. Hopefully I wasn't hyping myself up too much though cause I'm actually quite rusty.
We have been cooking a lot these days.
We met this crazy guy this week and taught him about the restoration. He had a lot of weird comments about how he would have to contact God and all the old prophets and ask them if it would be okay to read the book of mormon, and once they got back to him he'd let us know. But anyway he wanted us to go to Seoul and meet him there but I said it's not our area so we can't go. But the next day he texted and said: "I talked to God, and He said you can come to Seoul, so..."
So yeah I guess we've got the thumbs up from God to go to Seoul to meet that guy!
Taking a moment to appreciate the Grimace Shake
