양양 Adventures

This week my comp and I decided to call all the people we have in our contacts who are from 양양 (yang yang). We don't go there super often cause it's a tiny town, even smaller than 속초, and it's about an hour away. But it is in our area still and we have a bunch of people's numbers from there, so we gave them all a call. And it turned out pretty well! We ended up with 4 appointments all stacked on Wednesday, so we planned an all day trip to 양양.

Only 2 of the appointments ended up happening, but they went well and through one of them we also got invited to yet another English club, which is tomorrow in 양양 in the morning. So tomorrow we have another 양양 day trip. I also completely fell in love with 양양 when we went, so we're planning on going once a week from here on out. It is actually the perfect little town, and has so many old grandmas (my favorite!)

One of the guys we met with in 양양 is named 김청래 (cheong rae kim) and after we called him the first time he started sending us random videos nonstop of American singers singing songs and random videos of music haha. So, we thought he might be a little weird, but when we met with him, he was the nicest grandpa! And also, a Vietnam War veteran so that's crazy. But he was super cool and even took us out for lunch. We're meeting with him again tomorrow

It's been really cold, which is tough since the church is a 40 minute walk from our house. But we've still been able to meet with so...
